KOMALI CHEF & YOUNG MOTHER ORGANIZES HELP FOR MOORE, OK.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DALLAS, TX–“When I heard the babies in Moore, Ok., were in desperate need of diapers, wipes, formula and even teddy bears to hug at night, I felt the intense obligation to help seeing that my daughter has all those things and I couldn’t imagine not being able to provide that to her,” says Komali Restaurant executive chef Anastacia Quinones. The proud mother of a 6-month-old daughter, Quinones pledged to do something about it.
With the help of Komali owner/chef Abraham Salum, who is known for being community minded, as well as a good restaurateur, Quinones developed a plan……
Now through the month of August, anyone bringing much needed diapers, wipes, formula, baby bottles, teddy bears, or a cash donation to Komali for lunch will receive 25% off their ticket for up to 4 guests. ( tax, tip and alcoholic beverages not included).
Showcasing the best of authentic Mexican cuisine at Komali, the lunch menu features a popular daily Comida Corrida (meal on the run) three-course special of appetizer, entrée and dessert for $14.00 per person (plus tax and gratuity) among other a-la-carte regional dishes from Oaxaca and Guerrero, Veracruz, the Yucatan and Central Mexico.
Daily happy hour ( 4:30pm-6:30 pm) specials of $3 off glasses of wine, $.50 off beers, and the signature specialty drinks for $7 each help make the summer heat evaporate. Thanks to award winning mixologist Leann Berry’s margaritas and Komali’s big screen TV’s.
